    Description:

Delve into the ancient technology of Kundalini Yoga, as taught by Yogi Bhajan. Kundalini Yoga is considered the “yoga of awareness.”  It is a dynamic, powerful tool that is designed to give you an experience of your soul. In Kundalini Yoga we harness the mental, physical, and nervous energies of the body and put them under the domain of the will, which is the instrument of the soul.

This technology precisely and consciously combines breath, mudra, eye-focus, mantra, body locks, and postures to balance the glandular system, strengthen the nervous system, expand lung capacity, and purify the blood, as well balance the chakras. It brings overall balance to the body, mind, and soul.

Open to all levels, each class includes a warmup, kriya (set of postures), meditation, and healing gong bath during our rest and integration time

    Description:

It seems that none of us make it through this life without experiencing trauma and grief at some point. Grief is a natural and healthy response to the loss that accompanies stressful, overwhelming, and traumatic events. Loss comes in all shapes and sizes. In this class, we will explore easy, gentle yoga and movement practices that invite us to feel into our bodies while also investigating various integration tools to help with the many facets of loss. Through breathing practices, use of sound, the invitation to explore touch, and other healing experiences, we seek to both regulate and create more space for our experience. There is no need to be good at yoga, no need to do it right, you are welcomed and invited to come exactly as you are.

This therapeutic movement and processing group will entail time for education regarding trauma and grief, journaling, integration, and sharing.  This is a blend of psychoeducation, movement, processing, and personal connection.
