• COVID-19 Response

All providers at The Body-Based Mindfulness Center are taking extra precautions to limit the spread of COVID-19 and its variants and to promote our client’s and our provider’s safety. The steps we are taking include offering virtual mental health appointments through a secure platform, limiting class sizes to between 4 and 8 and also providing online options for yoga, mindfulness, and other classes. We provide HEPA air purifiers in shared spaces and have increased cleaning in individual offices, bathrooms, and shared spaces between sessions.

    • We encourage our clients to remain informed about COVID, about vaccination, and about safety for themselves and others through reputable sources.
    • We offer our clients the choice of wearing a mask for in-person appointments or utilizing our on-line options if they prefer not to or cannot wear a mask.
    • For those who choose in-person options, we do require that they wear their mask when entering the building and while occupying shared spaces such as waiting areas and offices. If clients forget their mask, no worries, we provide masks, hand sanitizer, and cleaning wipes in the waiting areas.
    • We will maintain 6ft of distance between clients and staff whenever possible.
    • We require all clients and staff to remain home when they have any symptoms of illness.
    • We ask that staff and clients minimize exposure to COVID between appointments.
    • Staff and clients will inform their provider if they believe they’ve been exposed so we can take steps to minimize spread.
    • We ask that clients who work in jobs that expose them to COVID-19 continue to meet for appointments via Telehealth.
