Women's & LGBTQ+ Self-Defense

This 8-week, trauma-informed and somatic-based self-defense group for women and the LGBTQ+ community integrated mindfulness, psychoeducation, journaling, and progressive combat skills within eight 2-hour sessions.

 Each session pairs nervous-system–aware theory with embodied self-defense techniques to build safety, confidence, and integrated resilience across the entirety of your being.

Soma & Soul Women's Group

The Soma & Soul Women’s Group at The Body-Based Mindfulness Center provides a safe, nurturing space for women to explore emotional healing, self-empowerment, and deeper connection with their bodies.

Rooted in trauma-informed principles, this group incorporates somatic practices, mindfulness, and guided discussions to support participants in releasing stored trauma while fostering balance in mind, body, and spirit. With a focus on building community, participants are encouraged to reconnect with their inner strength, intuition, and authentic self.

Mindfulness Group

A supportive mindfulness group meeting on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month, created to gently explore practices that build awareness, regulation, and inner safety.

Through guided exercises and shared reflection, participants develop practical mindfulness skills that support trauma recovery and emotional resilience.

The group offers a compassionate space for cultivating mental health wellness, presence, and self-connection.

Immortal Djedi Men's Group

IMMORTAL DJEDI is an 8-month, trauma-informed men’s group designed to support emotional
regulation, nervous system stabilization, relational capacity, and identity development.

Participants meet on zoom, twice monthly on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays from 12–2 PM Mountain Time.
(opening ceremony April 18th).

The program integrates psychoeducation, somatic practices, and group process through the framework of the King, Warrior, Magician, and Lover archetypes. This container is appropriate for men seeking structured support for anxiety, emotional dysregulation, relational difficulties, identity development, and increased self-leadership within a consistent group setting.
